Herne Bay man arrested for drugs offence

Kent Police officers have seized drugs and arrested a man in Ashford. Officers from the Local Policing Team were on patrol when they stopped a car on the A2070 between Brenzett and Hamstreet. The car and a property was subsequently searched and police seized a quantity of suspected class B drugs along with a mobile phone and cash. A 20-year-old man from Herne Bay was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled drug with intent to supply. The man has been released pending further investigation.
