Gosport man dies following fatal Basingstoke Collision

Police are investgating a fatal road collision involving a Ford Transit van and a lorry that happened at the junction between the A30 and A33 at Basingstoke on Thursday (Sept 29) at around 4.10pm. Sadly the 38 year-old man from Gosport who was driving the Ford Transit died from his injuries the following day at Southampton General Hospital. His passenger a 30 year-old man from Gosport remains in hospital to be treated for serious, but not life-threatening injuries.The three people in the lorry were treated for minor injuries at the scene.No-one else was hurt and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of what happened.
