Gillingham murder detectives request dashcam footage

Detectives investigating a suspected murder in Medway are requesting footage from motorists whose dashcams may have recorded important evidence. The body of a 68-year-old man was found at an address in Firethorn Close, Gillingham, after officers received a report of a fire at the property shortly after 10.30am on Thursday 14 February 2019. A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody. He is believed to be known to the victim. Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate would now like to hear urgently from any motorists whose vehicles are fitted with dashcam and may have been parked in the following locations in Gillingham between 7am and 11am on Thursday 14 February. ·.pnn.police.uk.
