The family of Juan Pablo Hernández Lima, an 18-year-old who tragically lost his life in a road traffic collision in Liverpool City Centre on September 18, has issued a heartfelt tribute in memory of their beloved son.
The young man’s life was cut short in a collision on Hatton Garden, near its intersection with Dale Street, where it was reported that he had been involved in a collision with a van. His family’s tribute paints a vivid picture of a promising young man whose future was full of potential.
In their tribute, Juan Pablo’s family conveyed the profound sense of loss they are experiencing. They shared, “Our son Juan Pablo Hernández Lima, died in a road traffic collision on September 18. He was only 18 years old and it was his first day at the University of Liverpool, where he was about to study urban planning.”
Juan Pablo’s background was as diverse as his dreams. Born in Cuba, he held Mexican and American nationality, reflecting his identity as a citizen of the world. The family also expressed his deep affection for the UK, making his untimely passing all the more poignant.
