Fallen Power Cable sparks field fire in Totland

Crews from Freshwater station as well as appliances from across the island called to a field fire in Totland on the Isle of Wight The fire was caused by a fallen live electricity cable. Initially, crews used ground monitors to contain and stop the spread of fire whilst the electricity board were called to isolate the power, then the fire was extinguished using main jets. Police also attended to close the road.
