Cyclist in 70s Airlifted to Hospital After Collision on A21

Police are urgently appealing for witnesses following a serious collision involving a cyclist on the A21 at Westfield, near Hastings. The incident occurred shortly before 9 AM on Saturday, July 6, close to the junction with Westfield Lane.

The collision involved a black Audi AQ and a cyclist, a local man in his 70s, who sustained life-threatening injuries. The cyclist was airlifted to the hospital by air ambulance, while no other injuries were reported in the incident.

Authorities are seeking anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant dashcam footage to come forward. Witnesses are asked to email [email protected], quoting Operation Woodfield.
