Concern Grows for Missing Woman from Gravesend

Kent Police are appealing for the public’s help in locating a 76-year-old woman who has been reported missing from the Gravesend area.

Carolyn Groom was last seen in the Northfleet area at approximately 9.30pm on Monday 7 April. Officers say she may also have connections to the Rochester area.

Carolyn is described as being around 5ft tall with grey, shoulder-length hair. At the time of her disappearance, she is believed to have been wearing a dark skirt and sandal-style slippers.

Police have expressed growing concern for Carolyn’s welfare and are urging anyone who may have seen her or knows of her whereabouts to come forward immediately.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Carolyn’s safety and are asking members of the public to keep an eye out, particularly in the areas around Northfleet and Rochester.”

Anyone with information is urged to call 999 and quote reference number 8-0299.
