MURDERED Charlotte Church Murdered Moments Into Celebrity Traitors Show

Welsh singer Charlotte Church was shockingly “murdered” just minutes into last Thursday’s Celebrity Traitors episode (October 16). Comedian Alan Carr, TV host Jonathan Ross, and singer Cat Burns plotted her ousting while Charlotte was still upbeat.

“I thought I was going to be murdered. I’m outspoken at the round table, and I’m outspoken with my opinions, not that I was much of a threat to the Traitors,” Charlotte reflected after the episode. “But as the game progressed, I hope I would’ve been. I hope that’s why they’ve gotten rid of me. Well played Traitors.”

Who’s the Latest Victim on Celebrity Traitors?

Following Charlotte’s dramatic exit, another celeb was eliminated in Thursday’s nail-biting episode — Joe Wilkinson.

Joe was the latest contestant sent home after Alan, Jonathan, and Cat made their choice in the turret ceremony. Opening his wax-sealed letter that sealed his fate, Joe admitted:

“I sort of expected it because I was quite lippy last night.”

Fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to mourn Joe’s departure:

  • “Oh nooooooooo Joe!!!! When it comes down to the crunch crunch, gutted for him! #CelebrityTraitors.”
  • “How could they do this? They have ruined the Joemance!! #CelebrityTraitors.”

Mark Bonnar Out in Historic Tie

Earlier in the episode, Mark Bonnar was banished after a rare tie vote in the game. Following two rounds of voting, presenter Claudia Winkleman revealed fate would decide who left between Mark and historian David Olusoga.

“Players, it is still a draw, therefore we will now leave this banishment to the hands of fate,” Claudia announced on Wednesday’s episode.

When to Watch

Celebrity Traitors airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. Stay tuned for the next shocking twist!
