Charges Following Robbery In Dover

A man has been charged with carrying out a serious assault and robbery in Dover.

Kent Police was called to Snargate Street at around 9pm on Saturday 16 September 2023 following reports of an assault.

Officers attended and a man in his 40s was found with head injuries. He was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

Following an investigation by East Kent CID, Kurt Collins has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, robbery and criminal damage.

The 34-year-old, of Townsend Close, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, is due to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 28 September.
