The Thai police disclosed that the suspected shooter is a mere 14 years old, heightening the shock and disbelief surrounding the incident. Thailand’s Central Investigation Bureau confirmed that the young male had been apprehended on the third floor of the Siam Kempinski Hotel, bringing an end to the immediate threat.

Security camera footage captured the dramatic arrest, showing the alleged shooter kneeling with hands on his head as three officers closed in. Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin expressed deep concern for public safety in the wake of the shooting.
