Cabin Fire in Maidstone Extinguished by Firefighters

Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded to a cabin fire in King Edward Road, Maidstone, on Friday, September 13, 2024. The blaze was reported at 9:49 pm, prompting the dispatch of three fire engines to the scene.

Upon arrival, crews found the fire had spread beyond the cabin, affecting a nearby shed, fence, and surrounding trees. Firefighters quickly brought the situation under control using high-pressure hose reel jets and main jets to extinguish the flames.

Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in the incident. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation and remains unknown at this time.

Crews worked diligently to prevent further damage and cleared the scene by 10:55 pm
