Appeal Launched After £130,000 Jewellery and Handbag Burglary Near Westerham

Police are appealing for information following a high-value burglary in which jewellery and designer handbags worth more than £130,000 were stolen from a home near Westerham.

Details of the Incident

The burglary took place between 4.30pm and 6pm on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at a residential property near Emmetts Lane in Ide Hill.

According to reports, three men broke into the property and stole five pieces of high-value jewellery along with several designer handbags before fleeing on foot towards Sundridge Road.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Detectives are urging anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area or has any relevant information to contact the West Kent appeals line at 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/216176/24.

Additionally, local residents with CCTV footage and motorists with dashcam recordings from the area during the time of the burglary are asked to check their recordings for any possible evidence.
