A30 Westbound Closed in Devon Following Road Traffic Collision

Drivers are facing delays this evening after a serious collision forced the closure of the A30 westbound in Devon, between the A375 near Honiton and the B3177 near Fenny Bridges.

Emergency services are currently at the scene, and the carriageway remains fully closed while the incident is dealt with. Motorists are being urged to avoid the area and expect significant delays.

National Highways confirmed that traffic is being diverted via local routes, though congestion is likely on surrounding roads as the closure continues into the evening.

“If this closure impacts your planned route, please allow extra journey time,” a spokesperson said. “Plan ahead — you may wish to reroute or delay your journey.”

No further details have yet been released about the number of vehicles involved or whether there are any injuries.
