A2 in Dartford closed in both directions following collision

Police in Kent has closed the A2 in both directions following a collision. The crash on the A2 near Wilmington involving one vehicle has overturned. There is also an oil spillage. has been injured. Highways England have said: Traffic remains held following the serious multi-vehicle collision, Emergency services remains in attendance. The A2 in both directions between A2018 and M25 and A282 near Darenth. UPDATE:Two people were thrown from a car when it crashed and overturned on the A2 near Dartford just before 9pm last night. A second car also ended up on its roof. One casualty was taken to King’s Hospital, London, and two others went to the Medway Maritime Hospital. More to follow
