In a successful joint operation, the Metropolitan Police’s MSC Surge team, collaborating with the British Transport Police (BTP) at London Bridge, apprehended an individual carrying a large knife.
The arrest is part of the ongoing efforts to enhance public safety and reduce the presence of dangerous weapons on the streets of London.
The arrest took place with the support of the MSC Surge team, known for their proactive measures in addressing crime hotspots. In a statement, the MetTaskforce highlighted the collaborative effort with BTPLondonBridge and BTPLondon in locating and disarming the individual.
The team moved into action, ensuring the safety of the public by removing another weapon from circulation. The suspect is now in custody, and the authorities will proceed with the necessary legal procedures.
