A former doctor from Canterbury, Greg Manson, 55, has appeared in court charged with non-recent sexual and indecent assaults against multiple men and two boys. The charges stem from incidents dating between 1998 and 2017 when Manson served as a General Practitioner in the Canterbury area.
Manson’s arrest in 2018 was part of an investigation led by Kent Police’s Child and Adult Protection Team, focusing on offences that occurred over the course of nearly two decades. The suspect appeared at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, January 25, 2024, where he faced a total of 24 individual charges related to nine victims.
Details of the charges were not immediately disclosed, but the allegations pertain to non-recent sexual and indecent assaults committed during Manson’s tenure as a GP.
His next court appearance is scheduled for March 4, where he will face these charges before Canterbury Crown Court.
