Rush Hour Motorway Delays in Hampshire after Lorry Breaks Down

Drivers are facing rush-hour delays after a lorry broke down on a the motorway. Traffic is building on the M27 westbound after the incident at junction four, near Eastleigh Airport, which left one lane of the carriageway closed due to a broken down lorry. The Highways Agency has closed off one of the  lanes  to aid the recovery of the vehicle. Tailbacks are being reported as far east as junction nine at Whiteley, with particularly bad problems between Hedge End and Bursledon. Further delays are now being caused By #M27 eastbound – Accident between J8 and J9, lane 1 blocked and delays building.
