A 25-year-old man is fighting for his life in hospital after a shooting incident that unfolded in front of members of the public in East Road, E15. Officers from the Metropolitan Police were alerted to the incident at 11.59 pm on Monday, January 22.
The victim was promptly taken to the hospital, suffering from a gunshot injury. He currently remains in a critical condition, and his family has been informed of the situation.
The Met is now appealing to witnesses and the public for any information regarding the shooting in Stratford.
Detective Inspector Mat Freeman, leading the investigation, stated, “We know that when this happened, there were members of the public and vehicles driving nearby at the time. Did you capture anything on your phone, or on your dash cam if you were driving? Any piece of information, no matter how irrelevant it may seem, could be crucial in piecing together what happened.”
