Police were called at 15:05hrs on Tuesday, 9 January to reports of a shooting in a car park in Miles Road, Mitcham. Officers attended along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance. A man was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound. His condition was assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing. An investigation is underway and enquiries are ongoing. Any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 3884/09Jan.
