Double stabbing in Islington

Police were called at around 5.35pm on Monday, 6 May, to a stabbing in Fairbridge Road, North London. Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and found a male, thought to be aged 17 years, suffering stab injuries. Around ten minutes later, a second teenager was found suffering stab injuries in Sussex Close, N19. The male – believed to be aged 18 years – was also taken to hospital. At this early stage, the condition of both males has been assessed as life-threatening. Enquiries are underway, led by detectives from the Central North Command Unit, to establish the full circumstances. At present, both stabbings are being treated as linked.
