Updated: Kent Fire And Rescue Service Is Currently At The Scene Of A Large Pile Of Haybales Alight On Rye Street In Rochester

Four fire engines have been sent to the scene, and crews are carrying out a controlled burn. Those living or working in the nearby area are temporarily advised to keep windows and doors closed as a precaution due to smoke coming from the incident.   UPDATE: 09.30am: Kent Fire and Rescue Service will continue to monitor the scene of a haybale fire on Rye Street in Rochester this morning.
