Crack and Heroin Dealer Jailed After Police Smash Marlow Line
A county lines drug dealer who operated a heroin and crack cocaine supply route between London and Oxford has been jailed for five years and six months.
Damion Williams, 28, of Mayfield Road, Ilford, appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Friday (8 November), where he pleaded guilty to:
The case stems from a police raid on 25 May 2022, when Thames Valley Police executed a warrant at Williams’ address, suspecting he was running the notorious Marlow Line.
Drugs Line Busted
Officers recovered two mobile phones at the scene. One was found to be the active drugs line used to sell crack and heroin. The second phone was used to direct drug runners operating in Oxford.
Williams was arrested, charged the same day, and remanded in custody until sentencing.
Police Statement
Detective Constable Ben Jones, of the Drugs Focus Taskforce, said:
“Williams accepted that he played a leading role in the supply of drugs through the Marlow Line.
I hope his conviction sends a clear message — if you’re involved in county lines drug dealing, we will investigate, track you down, and bring you to justice.”
County Lines Crackdown
The Marlow Line is one of many county lines operations, where urban gangs exploit vulnerable individuals to transport and sell drugs in smaller towns. The National Crime Agency reports over 2,000 active lines in the UK.
