A man in his 50s has been left with serious injuries after a collision in Chesterfield late last night. The incident occurred on Chatsworth Road, near the junction of Alma Street West, involving a black Citroen DS3 and the man, who subsequently collided with three women.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 23.20 BST, and the injured man was swiftly taken to the hospital for treatment. Although his injuries are severe, they are not believed to be life-threatening. The man is currently receiving medical care and is expected to make a recovery.
The three women involved in the incident, all in their 40s, sustained minor injuries and were also treated at the scene.
