Detectives have taken four individuals into custody as part of an ongoing investigation into the tragic murder of a 25-year-old man in Brent, a borough in North West London.
The incident unfolded late in the evening on Sunday, September 24, when the police received a distress call reporting a stabbing on Olympic Way, Wembley. Officers swiftly responded to the scene, where they found a man suffering from stab wounds. They immediately initiated life-saving measures, including CPR, until the arrival of paramedics from the London Ambulance Service. Despite their best efforts, the victim’s injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead shortly after reaching a north London hospital.
The victim has been identified as Hamza Iqbal, a 25-year-old resident of Brent, and his next of kin have been notified of the tragic event. A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place to determine the precise cause of death.
In the course of their investigation, detectives have made four arrests. Three men, have been taken into custody on suspicion of murder, while a woman, identified has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. All four individuals are currently detained as the investigation continues.
