They both face charges of two counts of child abduction. Following their court appearance, they were remanded to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Tuesday, September 26. Additionally, they have been further remanded to appear at the same court on Monday, October 9.

A 63-year-old woman who was arrested at an address in Essex on Sunday, September 24, is under investigation on suspicion of child abduction, assisting an offender, and perverting the course of justice. The assault charge is related to an incident on September 19, involving an alleged assault on a woman.
