Two Charged With Fraud over Grenfell Claims

A man and woman have been charged with fraud relating to the Grenfell Tower fire. it is understood that sums are in excess of £220,000. Elaine Douglas, 51 and Tommy Brooks, 51 , both of no fixed abode, were both charged on Wednesday, 2 May, with three counts of fraud by false representation. Douglas and Brookes appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 2 May where they were both remanded in custody. They will appear at Isleworth Crown Court on 30 May.
