On Saturday, September 16, at approximately 09:20 the Plymouth police received a distressing report of a woman falling from a window at a property located on Marlborough Street. Emergency services swiftly responded to the scene, where they discovered a woman in her 20s who had fallen from a window.
The injured woman was immediately transported to Derriford Hospital in a critical condition. Her next of kin has been informed of the incident, and they are undoubtedly receiving support during this difficult time.
T/Detective Inspector Esther Gould provided an update on the ongoing investigation, stating, “We currently have a scene guard in place at the property, which is expected to remain for the rest of the day. Officers will also be present conducting house-to-house enquiries.”
The Plymouth police have taken a 35-year-old man from Plymouth into custody on suspicion of False Imprisonment in connection with this incident. The investigation is still in its early stages as authorities work diligently to piece together the facts surrounding the incident.
