Authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man captured in a CCTV image in connection with an assault that occurred on board a train at Liverpool James Street station.
The incident took place shortly before 22.50 BST on Saturday, August 19th, on a Merseyrail service that had reached James Street station. The victim, a passenger on the train, was subjected to multiple punches to her face by an unknown assailant before he left the train.
Detectives leading the investigation are reaching out to the community in hopes that someone may recognise the individual depicted in the CCTV image. Any information regarding this person could prove vital to advancing their inquiry.
