The authorities were alerted to the situation at 08:15on that fateful Sunday, when they received a call reporting an injured man in Tring Close, Harold Hill. The victim, a man in his 30s, was found at the scene with the serious head injury, triggering an immediate response from both the police and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.
He was swiftly transported to a hospital, where his condition was initially described as serious. However, subsequent assessments have determined that his injuries are not life-threatening, offering some relief to those concerned about his well-being.
Detective Inspector James Rush, who serves on the local policing team in east London, urged the public to come forward with any information that could shed light on the incident. He stated, “We believe the man was approached by a woman in a car after becoming injured and I urge her to get in touch with us.
