Kent Fire And Rescue Service Was Called To Reports Of A Car On Fire On Maidstone's Loose Road In Maidstone

 

One fire engine responded, and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.

There were no injuries reported, and the fire is believed to have started accidentally in the engine compartment.
