Stanhope Road on Lockdown after Suspicious Object is Blown up by Explosive Ordnance Team

Police are currently at a building in Stanhope Road, Portsmouth, after receiving a report of a suspicious object.Officers are at the scene and a cordon is in place An Explosive Ordnance Team has been called in. As a precaution, a controlled explosion was carried out in Victoria Park.
