Gareth Garvey, from Polegate, was reported missing in early April.

As concerns for his safety grew, Sussex Police issued an information request.

Officers stated Gareth’s corpse was discovered this afternoon (May 2).

Gareth’s family have thanked the public for their assistance,” a Sussex Police spokeswoman stated.

Gareth’s death is not being investigated, and a report will be made for the coroner.
