Colindale Murder Probe Launched by Police following Stabbing

A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Colindale.Police were called at 17:58hrs on Sunday, 15 April, to Zenith Close, Colindale, NW9 to reports of a stabbing. Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance. A young father was stabbed to death last night in the 1st of 2 knife killings in the space of just half an hour in the capital Police launched a murder probe after Raul Nicolaie, said to be in his 20s, was stabbed to death at his flat in Colindale He was taken to a central London hospital by London Ambulance Service, where he was pronounced dead later that evening. Enquiries are underway to trace next of kin. We await formal identification. A post-mortem will be scheduled in due course. The victim and the suspect are known to each other. Enquiries are ongoing. A 34-year-old woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. She was taken to a north London police station where she remains in custody at this time. A crime scene is in place and enquiries continue.
