Kent Fire And Rescue Service Was Called To Reports Of A Fire In A Commercial Property On Sea Street In Herne Bay

Four fire engines and a height vehicle were sent to the scene, and crews arrived to smoke and flames issuing from the ground floor property. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used main jets, hose reel jets and water from a local hydrant to extinguish the blaze. No casualties were reported and the cause has not yet been confirmed.
