On Sunday, February 12, 2023, the victim reported that a man he knew assaulted him in a communal stairwell before forcing his way into the victim’s St Albans Close flat.

During the incident, the man and two others are said to have entered the victim’s property and assaulted him before fleeing the scene. One person is said to have inflicted injuries with a hammer.

Officers charged Klein Moir, 27, of St Albans Close, Gillingham, with aggravated burglary on Tuesday, February 14. He appeared in Maidstone Crown Court on the same day he was remanded and is scheduled to return on Tuesday, March 14th.
