A Fire At A Flat On Amhurst Park In Stamford Hill Was Tackled By Four Fire Engines And Approximately 25 Firefighters

The fire damaged the majority of the three-room flat on the fifth floor of a seven-story building.

One man with smoke inhalation left the building before the Brigade arrived and was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.

Over 40 calls about the fire were received by the Brigade’s 999 Control Officers.

The Fire Department was called at 4.06pm, and the fire was out by 5.38pm. Firefighters from Homerton, Tottenham, Holloway, and Islington were dispatched to the scene.

The fire’s origin is being investigated.
