On Wednesday, February 1, 2023, Kent Police received notification that a
car tracker had activated in Staplehurst.
The vehicle, which was stolen during a reported burglary in Cliffe Woods on
January 25, was initially shown to be stationary but began to move away.
Drones have been deployed.
Patrols responded to the area and, after determining that it was most
likely in a gated compound near the village, used a drone to confirm its
presence.
Officers responded and recovered the vehicle. It is now being forensically
examined in order to identify those responsible for the theft.
