Authorities involved in the investigation of an attempted wounding incident that occurred in Doncaster last week have taken a significant step forward by releasing an e-fit image of an individual they are keen to identify.
The incident, which transpired around 12:46pm on Tuesday, August 8, unfolded at a vacant property located on Mercel Avenue. According to reports, a 26-year-old man had entered the premises to carry out work. His routine task quickly turned into a harrowing encounter as he was confronted by an armed individual yielding a knife. The assailant proceeded to slash at the victim multiple times, causing considerable damage to his clothing. Swiftly afterward, the suspect fled the scene through a field situated at the rear of the property.
Remarkably, the victim escaped the altercation without any physical injuries. He has collaborated with law enforcement officers to construct an e-fit image of the individual behind the attack.
The authorities are now reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying the depicted individual. Any information that could potentially aid in the resolution of this case is welcomed. Individuals who recognise the person depicted in the e-fit image are urged to contact law enforcement online or by dialling 101, referencing the crime reference number 14/143093/23.
