The Metropolitan Police have released the name of the victim who was fatally stabbed in Enfield during a group altercation. The incident occurred on Tuesday, July 11, and the victim has been identified as 22-year-old Emiliano Hasanpapaj.
Police were alerted to the incident at approximately 11:50 p.m. on Tuesday, following reports of a fight involving multiple individuals in Berkshire Gardens, N13. Around the same time, a man arrived at a hospital in north London with a stab wound. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
Emiliano Hasanpapaj’s family is receiving support from specially trained officers during this difficult time. Detectives from the Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command are actively investigating the case to establish the circumstances surrounding the murder.
A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident. However, he has since been released on police bail and is scheduled to appear in court in October pending further investigation.
