Tributes have been paid following the unexpected death of a long-serving West Yorkshire Police officer. PC Dominic Clegg, who had served with the force for almost 20 years, died on Saturday. PC Clegg was described as a highly respected officer who had worked across several areas of West Yorkshire during his policing career. Most recently, he served within West Yorkshire Police’s Learning and Organisational Development department, helping support the development of officers and staff across the force. Earlier in his career, PC Clegg served communities in both Leeds and Bradford. News of his death has prompted tributes from those who knew and worked alongside him. Thoughts are with PC Clegg’s family, friends, colleagues and the communities he served during almost two decades with West Yorkshire Police.
