Corrosive Substance Thrown in High Street Horror
Kent Police rushed to Ye Arrow on High Street at 10:15pm on Saturday, 13 September 2025, following reports of a violent fracas. The victim was doused in a corrosive substance, causing serious facial injuries. Emergency services treated him at a local hospital before he was released. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.
Suspects Arrested, Investigation Ongoing
- 23-year-old man from Wickford, Essex, arrested on 18 September
- 19-year-old from Purfleet-on-Thames detained on 22 September
- 21-year-old from Upminster arrested on 23 September
All three suspects are in custody on suspicion of assault and remain on bail as police continue their investigation into the shocking attack.
