Teen Cyclist Brutally Attacked on Isle of Sheppey High Street
Life-Saving Helicopter Scrambles to Scene
Kent Ambulance rushed to the Isle of Sheppey after a teenage cyclist was seriously assaulted this lunchtime. A life-saving helicopter landed at Beachfields just before midday, where medics treated the injured boy on the spot.
Victim Sustains Facial Injuries
The teenager, who lives in Queenborough, suffered facial and other injuries during the senseless attack in Sheerness High Street yard. Emergency crews on-board the helicopter provided critical care.
Suspect Flees Scene
Kent Police have launched an investigation. The attacker is described as a 27-year-old man, notably very heavyset, who fled the scene. Authorities have been contacted for comment.
