Elderly Couple Left Fighting for Lives After North London Stabbing Drama
Two pensioners in their 70s are battling for their lives in hospital following a grisly domestic incident in north London.
Stabbing Shocks Southgate Road
Police were called to Southgate Road, N1, at 8:24pm after reports of a stabbing. On arrival, officers found the elderly couple with serious injuries.
Woman in Life-Threatening Condition
The woman was discovered unresponsive and initially believed to be stabbed. However, police later confirmed she had not been stabbed but remains in a life-threatening state.
Man’s Injuries Less Severe, No Arrests Yet
The man’s wounds are not considered life-threatening. The Met Police have launched extensive inquiries, and a crime scene remains in place. No arrests have been made so far.
