Tragic Stabbing at South Bermondsey Warehouse Party
Detectives have identified the stabbing victim as 26-year-old Jason Nyarko from Lewisham. Jason was found fatally wounded inside an industrial unit on Stockholm Road, SE16, after an unlicensed music event on Saturday night.

- Police were called at 11.45pm on 26 June following reports of a stabbing.
- Jason Nyarko was discovered seriously injured by officers and paramedics.
- He was pronounced dead at the scene despite emergency efforts.
- A post-mortem is scheduled and his family have been informed and supported by specialist officers.
Teen Arrested After Head Injuries Found Nearby
A 16-year-old male with head injuries was found close to the scene. He was taken to hospital, treated, released, then arrested in connection with Jason’s death. He remains in police custody.
Police Plead for Witnesses to Come Forward
“The victim suffered fatal injuries which sadly claimed his life. Officers are working hard to achieve justice for his friends and family,” said Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie.
“We know there is a large amount of video footage from the night. It’s vital that anyone with photos or videos shares them with police. If you saw any fight or suspicious activity inside the warehouse, no detail is too small.
