Man Stabbed in Shocking Teen Gang Attack on Sanderstead Station Bridge
Victim Hurt in Late-Night Assault
A 27-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in the back during a brutal attack by a gang of teenagers on a bridge over Sanderstead station in South Croydon late Saturday night.
The victim was rushed to a major trauma centre after emergency services arrived at the scene just before 11 p.m.
Police Launch Hunt for Attackers
British Transport Police (BTP) officers, alongside paramedics and a BTP dog handler, immediately set up a crime scene and began searching for the suspects responsible.
“Officers were called to Sanderstead railway station at 10.54pm on 29 April to reports of a stabbing,” a BTP spokesperson confirmed.
Fortunately, the victim’s wound is not considered life-threatening or life-changing.
No Arrests Yet – Witnesses Asked to Speak Up
The investigation is ongoing, with no arrests made so far. Police urge anyone with information to come forward.
