Man Stabbed in Broad Daylight Outside Leyton Fire Station
A man has been rushed to a major trauma centre after a shocking stabbing outside Leyton Fire Station this afternoon. The attack unfolded at around 3:30pm on Monday, April 14, right at the busy junction of Church Road and Oliver Road.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service (LAS) responded immediately. An LAS spokesperson said:
“We were called at 3:27pm today (14 April) following reports of a stabbing at Church Road and Oliver Road, Leyton. We sent an ambulance crew, response officers, a clinical team manager, a paramedic from our tactical unit, and London’s Air Ambulance.”
“The victim was treated on scene before being taken to a major trauma centre.”
The man’s condition remains unknown and his identity has not been released.
Police Launch Ongoing Investigation
Police have made no arrests and details surrounding the stabbing are still unclear. A crime scene has been established as forensic teams gather evidence. Detectives are reviewing CCTV footage and speaking to witnesses to piece together what happened.
