Police are urgently searching for 46-year-old Menelik, who absconded from a secure hospital in Greenwich. He disappeared shortly after 1:20pm on Wednesday, 31 March, while on an escorted shopping trip near Deptford Docklands Light Railway Station.
Eyewitnesses believe Menelik boarded the number 53 bus heading towards Lambeth North. Officers are treating him as missing and are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

- Clothing: Black jacket, black jogging bottoms, blue trainers
- Known Areas: Streatham and Brixton
PC Luke Hill, leading the investigation, warned: “If seen, do not approach Menelik. Call 999 immediately. Anyone with information or who has had contact with him should ring the police straight away.”
