An 18-year-old man from Riverside, Cardiff, is set to appear in court after a 17-year-old boy suffered a stabbing at Barry Island on 25 May that resulted in a leg amputation.
South Wales Police charged the man with wounding with intent and possession of a knife or sharp-pointed article in a public place.
The teenager remains in critical care at the University Hospital of Wales.

The stabbing took place on 25 May at Barry Island, prompting emergency services to intervene quickly. The victim, severely injured, was rushed to the hospital, where medics later decided an amputation was necessary.
