A six-week-old black Labrador puppy stolen on December 30 in Bristol has been rescued safe and sound over 170 miles away in Cambridgeshire. The tiny pooch’s dramatic journey ended happily thanks to a police manhunt.
Avon and Somerset Police alerted Cambridgeshire Constabulary after the puppy vanished. Officers focused their search on the Ramsey area and launched a full operation to track down the stolen Labrador.
Fortunately, the puppy was found unharmed and cared for by a dedicated officer until it was reunited with its owner. A spokesman said, “The puppy has since been returned to its owner and our investigation continues.”
