Southampton police are actively hunting a man after a 22-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in a narrow alleyway off Carlton Road in the early hours of Saturday, August 27.
The incident occurred between 1.30am and 1.45am as the woman was walking along Carlton Road towards James Weld Close. The attacker assaulted the woman over her clothes in the alleyway.
Police have described the suspect as a white male aged between 25 and 29 years old, approximately 6 feet tall with a slim build. He has blond, spiky hair flopping to the right and a blond beard. At the time of the attack, he was wearing a thin grey or blue t-shirt and blue jeans.
Officers have stated that the investigation is still in its early stages, but they are following up all leads to identify and locate the suspect.
